White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stormed out of a press briefing on Thursday after a reporter repeatedly pressed to get a chance to answer a question.
Today News Africa reporter Simon Ateba challenged KJP and claimed that she ignores him and does not answer his questions.
Ateba refused to give up until she answered his question. President Joe Biden is expected to meet leaders from dozens of African countries at the U.S.-Africa Summit.
“Karine, why is it so hard to take a question on the U.S.-Africa Summit, when the President is meeting 50 African leaders — the biggest gathering of leaders of his administration?” he asked. “Why is it hard for you to give me a question?”
Jean-Pierre said it's not hard for her to take his questions then he claimed “it’s been months” since she's answered a single question of his.
There was some heated back and forth between the two before Jean-Pierre decided to call it a day.
“Okay. Thanks, everybody. I’ll see you tomorrow,” she said while walking out of the room.

In an interview with Daily Caller Ateba said Jean-Pierre should be “ashamed” of the interaction they had.
“Karine Jean-Pierre should be ashamed of herself,” Ateba said. “How bad can discrimination get? Even when President Biden is hosting 50 African leaders, she cannot give a question to the African reporter in the room. Shameful.”
