This year’s awards covered 42 different categories in food and home, with eight ALDI products taking home honors. In the Frozen Entrée category, it was the ALDI-exclusive Kirkwood Chicken Nuggets that came out on top, beating out frozen fish sticks, grain bowls, and other ready-to-eat options.
So what makes these chicken nuggets special? They’re made with white meat chicken and can be ready in minutes, whether tossed in the microwave or crisped up in the air fryer. According to ALDI’s description, the nuggets are reminiscent of the store’s fan-favorite “red bag chicken” and crafted with fresh chicken breast and rib meat for a hearty, flavorful bite.
Another big draw is the value. Each bag costs just $7.49 and contains more than a pound of nuggets, enough for over seven servings. Compared to similar products at other grocery stores, ALDI’s version often costs less while providing more chicken, making it a budget-friendly win.

On Reddit, one fan called them “the best store-bought nuggets I’ve ever tried.” Another compared them to Chick-fil-A’s nuggets, saying they’re “hands down the best” when seasoned just right.
