Andrew Cuomo Ripped for Selling Poster Celebrating New York's Highly Criticized COVID-19 Response

New York Covid-19

Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was ripped on social media for selling a poster that celebrates New York's widely criticized response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A poster was revealed on Monday that praised what he called "New York Tough" and said the artwork captures the plight of New Yorkers as they rose up and faced the coronavirus.

“I love history. I love poster art. Poster art is something they did in the early 1900s, late 1800s, when they had to communicate their whole platform on one piece of paper,” Cuomo said.

The poster shows essential workers participating in an activity that symbolizes "flattening the curve." Sunday was the first day for New York since March 11 where there were no COVID-19 related fatalities in the state.

“Over the past few years I’ve done my own posters that capture that feeling. I did a new one for what we went through with COVID and I think the general shape is familiar to you,” Cuomo explained. “We went up the mountain, we curved the mountain, we came down the other side and these are little telltale signs that, to me, represent what was going on.”

Take a look at the artwork:

It kind of resembles one of those "food pyramids" from the 1990s. There's a lot going on there, isn't there?

More complete insanity from the left. New York has suffered the most deaths in America due to COVID-19 and by a wide number. There are better ways to bring positivity to your state than a celebratory poster after your state leads the country in all COVID-19 related statistics.

The New York COVID-19 response is not something that should be celebrated.

President Trump's campaign put out one of the best political ads I've ever seen a campaign release. He and his team really know how to do it.

The best part wat that the ad takes aim at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her lavish lifestyle of the rich and famous and how she flaunts it for all of America to see, despite millions losing their jobs and the slackness of Congress.
