An Arizona state trooper has been charged with sexually abusing, harassing women and holding them against their will during traffic stops in an apparent abuse of power.
There have been eight women who have came forward and accused Tremaine Jackson of forcing them to perform sexual acts on him in exchange for overlooking their traffic violations.
On Tuesday the trooper was arrested on 61 charges from these eight women alone. He had been on the force for 13 years and it is believed that there are many more charges on the way.

Per Daily Mail:
Col Frank Milstead, director of the Arizona Department of Public Safety, said Tuesday that Jackson made sexual comments, touched women inappropriately and tried to extort sexual favors from them.
He added that Jackson falsified police reports and citations to conceal his criminal actions.
'We are absolutely horrified,' Milstead said. 'To think that under the color of authority, the trust the public places on the shoulder of law enforcement is betrayed by a single trooper that tarnishes the reputation of an agency or a profession and victimizes women on a traffic stop is horrifying.'
Among the charges Jackson faces include one count of attempted sexual assault, two counts of sexual abuse, four counts each of sexual extortion and attempted unlawful sexual conduct, and eight counts each of kidnapping, forgery and tampering with a public record/
The first complaint came forward May 15 during a routine stop when Jackson made inappropriate comments. The woman claims that Jackson asked her "what she was willing to do" to get out of the traffic violation.
In June there was another report that claimed he sexually assaulted another female driver. At that point he was put on administrative leave while an investigation was launched.

This is an absolutely disgusting abuse of power by this officer and he should have the book thrown at him. He should absolutely never be a police officer again.
