Senator Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., inadvertently appeared in the frame of a TikTok video that was being recorded on a New York City street, and his disapproving countenance quickly made the clip go viral.

The lawmaker and erstwhile presidential hopeful, who was on a book tour at the time, happened to emerge from a hotel and unexpectedly entered the TikTok video that Taylor Champ, a content creator, was producing with the hotel doorman. The video included a pre-planned choreographed performance.

The brief 5-second video captured the creator and the doorman striving to execute their dance moves, while a displeased-looking Sanders and his spouse, Jane, unknowingly approached them from behind, with no knowledge that the duo were in the midst of filming.

Sanders' countenance was unmistakably one of slight annoyance as he swiftly realized that he had inadvertently entered the frame following his wife. Consequently, he promptly changed course and moved out of the shot.

As Sanders' wife walked in between the camera and the dancers, she expressed regret upon realizing what was taking place.

Subsequent to the recording, Champ was surprised to discover that the famous senator had inadvertently appeared in her video. Astonished by the coincidence, she exclaimed, "Wait, Bernie Sanders was right there?! So funny, what a moment!"

She captioned the TikTook video with, "I really wish in the moment I realized who was walking by. All I was thinking was wow, first time I try to make a tiktok out here and I almost hit this poor lady in the face. I was just hoping she wasn’t mad but she was so sweet lol."

At present, Sanders is on a book tour promoting his latest publication, "It's Okay To Be Angry About Capitalism." The senator, who leans towards socialism, has faced criticism for the high cost of tickets to his events, which are being sold through Ticketmaster, a company that has been accused of engaging in "anti-competitive behavior."
