Say it ain't so! Former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee, said on Monday that he would choose former first lady Michelle Obama as his running mate "in a heartbeat."
As if an Obama in office is even close to anything this country needs...
“I’d take her in a heartbeat,” Biden said during an interview with CBS Pittsburgh, “She’s brilliant. She knows the way around. She is a really fine woman. The Obamas are great friends.”
However, he doesn't think she wants the position.“I don’t think she has any desire to live near the White House again,” Biden claims.
He also reiterated that he wants a woman as a running mate....is that what Michelle is? Hmm...
“I’ll commit to that [it will] be a woman because it is very important that my administration look like the public, look like the nation,” the former VP continued. “And there will be, committed that there will be a woman of color on the Supreme Court, that doesn’t mean there won’t be a vice president, as well.”
“I think it’s really important now that we establish once and for all, we should have had a woman president already, in Hilary (Clinton), in my view,” Biden added. “There are a number of qualified women out there.”
