Former Vice President Joe Biden has finally announced his bid for a presidential run in 2020. He quickly jumped in on trashing supporters of President Donald Trump on Saturday night while speaking at an LGBT charity event.
Creepy Uncle Joe, who is in rough waters considering the sexual harassment allegations swirling around him, said that people who voted for Trump are the “dregs of society” and “virulent people” during the Human Rights Campaign dinner in Washington.
I guess we can add that to our list of names. Obama called us clingers, Hillary called us deplorable, and now according to Biden, we are society’s dregs. However, if you ask Trump, we are patriots.
“Despite losing in the courts and in the court of public opinion, these forces of intolerance remain determined to undermine and roll back the progress you all have made,” Biden said.
“This time they — not you — have an ally in the White House. They’re a small percentage of the American people, virulent people,” he raged on, “Some of them the dregs of society.
Biden added, “And instead of using the full might of the executive branch to secure justice, dignity [and] safety for all, the president uses the White House as a literal, literal bully pulpit, callously exerting his power over those who have little or none.”
Donald Trump Jr. clapped back on Twitter. He said, “We are all used to Creepy Joe saying stupid stuff, but this is too far, even for him.”

I suppose Biden learned nothing from the last election when Hillary Clinton called Trump supporters a “basket of deplorables.” We embraced the name and ran with it. You cannot alienate half the voting base, and call them names, and expect that to win people over to your side. If anything, it solidifies our stance!
