A black Second Amendment activist who attended the Virginia pro-gun protest has a message for everyone: the media is falsely smearing activists as “nothing but white rednecks” and that is not the case at all.
As you watch the video, you can hear him say, “I do not in any way, shape, or form support Governor Northam’s and the Democrat’s gun control.”
Spoken like a true American!
“What I also don’t support is the fact that every news piece you’ve seen on this, this weekend, they’ve always brought up the issue of race, as though it’s nothing but white rednecks and hillbillies out here who care for the Second Amendment,” he added. “When actually, black Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, Americans in general, care about the Second Amendment.”

Many different news sources, such as NBC News reporter Ben Collins, painted the Second Amendment rally as a “white nationalist rally.” In reality, it was a pro-freedom rally. It was a pro-constitutional rally. It was a rally with Americans of all different races and ethnic backgrounds.
Today Virginians rose up and showed the government that they will NOT obey any law that takes away their constitutional right to bear arms. I fully support and applaud the people who gathered for the protest.

Gov. Ralph Northam (D) launched a war on guns just days after the Democrats won control of the Virginia legislature. He and Democrat lawmakers are now pushing licensing requirements for AR-15 owners, a gun registry for those owners, criminizalation of private gun sales via universal background checks, a ban on “high capacity” magazines, and a ban on suppressors and certain aftermarket triggers, among other controls.
Opposition to those gun controls is the motivating factor for Second Amendment supporters attending the rally in Richmond today.
We cannot remain silent any longer. If the tyrannical left gets an inch, they will run a mile. We must destroy their foothold while it is still weak.
