Did you know that both Democratic Senators currently running for president in 2020, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, voted for infanticide in 2019? In fact, every Democratic Senator who was in the running for president voted in favor of it, but Sanders and Warren are the only two Senators left in the primaries.
Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy Klobuchar, and Elizabeth Warren all voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
That is the Act proposed the would have required that health care professionals must "ensure that the child born alive is immediately transported and admitted to a hospital." It also protected the mother who gave birth from prosecution.
Life Site News reports that the Senate vote 53-44 in favor of the bill. However, it was seven votes shy of what they need.
Democrats Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Doug Jones of Alabama broke ranks with the party’s vote and supported the bill. Susan Collins, one of the Senate’s two pro-abortion Republicans, voted for it as well.
Conservatives and pro-life supporters decried the Democrats’ blocking of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
