Someone get this man a megaphone so he can shout his gay to the world. Apparently Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg's sexuality is the most important thing to him. Which is a weird thing to broadcast considering politics have nothing to do with whether or not you sleep with men.
Now the mayor is attacking President Trump (again) and claiming that his marriage (if you can even call it that) represents proper family values, unlike Trump's.
Buttigieg spoke out during a CNN town hall after conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Trump advised him to “never apologize” for his recent comments about Buttigieg's sexuality.
Buttigieg’s sexuality has been the topic of conversation after Limbaugh went after the openly gay former mayor on his syndicated radio program last week. Limbaugh called Buttigieg "a gay guy, 37 years old, loves kissing his husband on debate stages."
Buttigieg married his husband, Chasten Buttigieg, in 2018.
“One thing about my marriage is it’s never involved me having to send hush money to a porn star after cheating on my spouse with him or her,” Buttigieg said, “So they want to debate family values, let’s debate family values. I’m ready.”
"I love my husband. I'm faithful to my husband. On stage we usually just go for a hug. But I love him very much, and I'm not going take lectures on family values from the likes of Rush Limbaugh," Buttigieg he continued.
I mean, Limbaugh didn't say anything that wasn't true. Buttigieg a in fact a gay guy, he is 37 years old, and there are NUMEROUS photos of him kissing his husband on the debate stages. So what exactly is he upset about?
