Nick Cannon, having sired twelve children with six distinct women, recently shared his experience of receiving a divine message in which he was told he would be a "father of many." This was during a discussion about visions he's had regarding his legacy.
While appearing on Dr. Laura Berman's podcast, the 42-year-old actor, Nick Cannon, revealed he had received "manifestations or visions" from a higher power. He clarified that these divine messages were "fragmented" or only received "in pieces," according to a report by Fox News.
“I’ve never heard that clarity, but I heard that like, ‘Yo, you’re gonna be a father of many. There’s gonna be your great influence, your lineage, your offspring are gonna do great things,'” Cannon said. “Like I’ve had that, and I’m like that, ‘Oh well . . . the more the merrier.’ We roll the dice to the name and what you will build.”

“I had the vision that my name will be great as like, the Rockefeller name,” he continued. “I’m careful even how I talk about that because I don’t like to say, like, I don’t use the term ‘legacy’ anymore. ‘Lineage’ I’m comfortable with.”
“Legacy is about what you do, not what you produce,” Cannon continued. “My children hopefully will have their own legacies; what did you mean to the world? If my legacy was to have children, that’s not impressive. I want my legacy to be someone who did for others, someone who built hospitals and education facilities, left literature and content to where you say, ‘Wow, he was a thinker. He was a doer. He cared about people.’ That’s your legacy. Now my lineage. That is my offspring.”
Cannon has previously mentioned that he hasn't ruled out marriage from his future plans. This comes after his divorce from pop sensation Mariah Carey in 2016, following an eight-year-long marital journey.
“I’ve failed miserably so many times at monogamy and relationships,” he said. “But God ain’t done with me. We’re gonna figure it out.”
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey brought twin children into the world in 2011. Following that, he had three children with model Brittany Bell. With DJ Abby De La Rosa, he shares a set of twins and a seven-month-old daughter. Additionally, he had a son, Zen, with singer Alyssa Scott, who tragically passed away from brain cancer in December 2021 at the tender age of five months. Cannon and Scott also have a six-month-old daughter together. The TV personality also has one child each with Bre Tiesi and LaNisha Cole.
