Popular rapper Cardi B took to Twitter in support of the looting happening in Minnesota on Wednesday. She claims that they were left with "no choice" but to act violently and steal from stores in response to the death of George Floyd.
Floyd died when a Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck for an extended amount of time. The video of the officer, Derek Chauvin, with one knee in Floyd's back and another on his neck as Floyd begged for his life has gone viral.

In protest of police violence, footage of protestors looting and vandalizing all over the city is being broadcasted across social media. All actions that they could not help, according to Cardi.

“They looting in Minnesota and as much as I don’t like this type of violence it is what it is,” she wrote on Twitter. “Too much peaceful marches, too much trending hashtags, and NO SOLUTIONS! The people are left with NO CHOICE.”

With all due respect, they absolutely do have a choice. It's one thing to protest. By all means, protest and fight for justice. Fight against tyranny. However, looting and vandalizing the whole city makes literally zero sense. They go from protestors fighting for a cause to straight thugs that no one wants to reason with.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump addressed Floy'd death and announced that there would be a thorough investigation.
