Charles Barkley Caught on National TV Doing Something Outright Disgusting

Despite the nearly universal adoration for NBA analyst Charles Barkley, what he was doing during a TNT broadcast to clean his iPhone is outright disgusting.

The NBA Playoffs on Wednesday night were rather uneventful, featuring only a single game: Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. The Celtics dominated the Sixers and secured a 121-87 victory, resulting in a tied series at 1-1.

Slow news day for NBA standards at this time of year.

Despite the lackluster circumstances, Charles Barkley, the iconic basketball player, made sure to keep the audience amused in his trademark "Sir Charles" style. He unintentionally provided a comedic moment by demonstrating a rather revolting method of cleaning an iPhone - using his tongue! To add to the humor, Charles was oblivious to the fact that he was being filmed live on national television.

This resulted in some fantastic television.

Although I admire Charles Barkley as a fan, I must say that his behavior in this instance is quite repulsive.

Furthermore, it's not the first time that Charles has engaged in such behavior.

To make things even worse, a study has shown that iPhones are literally as dirty as a toilet seat.

“You just got to understand how filthy and disgusting your iPhone is. I mean, your phones are really, really dirty,” said Vioguard CEO Chris Barrow to Yahoo. “Like not just a bit dirtier than the toilet seat, but 10 to 20 times dirtier than a toilet seat.”

“How many people really use their phones while they’re sitting in the bathroom and on the toilet, and that’s kind of part of the issue. Half of phones that were tested by a number of different studies tested positive for fecal matter on the phone. Phones are really, really dirty.”

That was completely disgusting, Chuck. Come on!
