Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany have traded barbs over the last few days. This is getting spicy.
First, White House correspondent for Time Magazine Brian Bennett tweeted the comment McEnany made about Lightfoot. He said she called Lightfoot "the derelict mayor of Chicago."

From there Lightfoot responded by referring to McEnany as "Karen," which is a term used to make fun of angry, demanding middle-aged white women.

Some have said that Karen is a racial slur. We haven't speculated that, but it's definitely something you don't want to be called.
Fox News reached out to the White House press office, but they did not receive any comment yet.
