Boston Mayor Michelle Wu faced harsh criticism Tuesday. A local resident called her "clueless" for opposing Trump border czar Tom Homan.
"I think she's pretty clueless as to the oath that she took," said Catherine Vitale, a former city council candidate. "And to the Constitution that she's supposed to uphold," she told "Fox & Friends."
Homan vowed to "bring hell" to Boston. His response came after Police Commissioner Michael Cox told the media, "we don’t enforce" civil immigration detainers.
"You're not a police commissioner," Homan shot back at CPAC. "Take that badge off your chest. Put it in the desk drawer. Because you became a politician. You forgot what it’s like to be a cop."

Vitale, who is planning a pro-Homan protest, criticized Wu further. She accused the mayor of ignoring Boston’s crime crisis.
"There's tons of crime almost every single day," she said. "We hear shootings all the time. Most of them don’t even get reported. People don’t get arrested. Looters walk free."
"It’s like a jungle out here," she added.
Wu will testify before Congress next week alongside three other Democratic mayors. Homan, meanwhile, continues leading ICE raids in sanctuary cities, including Boston.
