Comedian Bashes 'Horrible, Heartless' Elon Musk in Scathing Attack

Bill Burr didn’t hold back. The comedian took a sharp jab at Elon Musk during an interview with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night. The backlash against Musk’s efforts to cut government spending made him an easy target.

"Billionaires are not happy having a billion dollars," Burr told Fallon. "Why does Elon Musk dress like he just got out of a Hot Topic?" He mocked Musk’s attempt to rewrite his own backstory. "I am so sick of that guy trying to rewrite his origin story like he was Matthew McConaughey pulling into the high school."

Musk had his own problems. He told Trump he was shocked by the growing protests against Tesla. Things escalated on Tuesday morning when multiple vehicles at a Tesla service center in Las Vegas were set on fire.

The FBI isn’t ruling out terrorism. Five vehicles were damaged in the attack, including two that were completely torched. Investigators are taking the incident seriously.

FBI Special Agent Spencer Evans spoke out. "Certainly has some of the hallmarks" of terrorism, he said. But it's too early to say for sure. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is handling the case.

Musk’s influence isn’t just business. His close ties with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have made him a political target. Critics argue he has too much sway over public policy.

Burr kept the jabs coming. He mocked Musk’s appearance and accused him of underpaying workers. "It’s like, ‘You were a f------ nerd, nobody banged you, and now you have hair plugs, and your laminated face,’" he said.

He didn’t stop there. "Everybody is afraid of these nerds," Burr continued. "My whole life, feminists were focusing on frat boys and guys with their hats on backwards, and they left the nerds alone. And now look at them."

"They're horrible, heartless people," he said. "And for some reason, if you say that then you're a communist, and we're in bed with the Russians."

Burr then turned to money. "Shouldn’t you pay your workers?" he asked. He reminisced about a time when "one week’s pay paid your rent" and life felt easier. "You had a little cottage, a little boat, you know? Maybe a second family down the road. That’s what you did. You had the money."

Musk fired back. He responded to a clip of Burr’s comments on X. His reply? A simple tag to the account "IfindRetards."

Burr isn’t tied to one political side. Last Monday, he previewed his new Hulu comedy special "Drop Dead Years" on NPR’s "Fresh Air" podcast. He called it an attempt "to get regular people to stop yelling at each other." He also took a swipe at liberals, saying they have "no teeth whatsoever" to stand up to billionaires.

His podcast took aim at Trump too. He mocked the administration for renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. Burr doesn’t hold back, no matter the target.
