Just when it seemed like the Costco food court couldn’t get any better, they proved everyone wrong again. Fans were still buzzing over the TikTok cheese hotdog hack and the pizza-in-a-Ziploc trick. Things were already top-tier. But now, Costco has finally brought back one of its most famous food court items. Excitement is through the roof.

Laura Lamb of CostcoHotFinds—widely known as the queen of Costco—announced that the retailer is reintroducing the hot turkey and provolone sandwich. Starting next week, every location will have it. Some lucky Costco shoppers in Oregon have already gotten their hands on one, according to Reddit users.

The sandwich was a fan favorite before it disappeared during the pandemic. Now, it’s quietly returned. The biggest change? A price hike. It now costs $6.99 instead of $3.99. Costco also upped the turkey slices and added pesto mayo. Instead of being made-to-order, it’s prepared in batches and warmed in ovens like the pizzas. Otherwise, it’s the same beloved sandwich.

“The bread was so warm and soft and it had a crunch,” Lamb shared in a clip. “I love the garlic mayo. This one is so filling and just incredible.”

Fans wasted no time flooding the comments with excitement. “Stopppp, absolute best thing ever,” one person wrote. Another added, “I used to love those sandwiches when I worked at the store.”

Some reactions were over the top. “YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳. This was the ONLY item I ate at the food court for years!!!!!” one fan raved.

While most people are thrilled, not everyone is happy about the price. “What happened to it being $3.99? 😆” someone questioned. Another argued that the new price should include extras. “For $7, it better come with a side and drink,” they said. It’s still unclear whether the sandwich is sold alone or as a combo.

Overall, the excitement is real. Now, if only Costco would bring back the combo pizzas and brisket sandwiches. Fans can only dream.
