Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, AKA dictator Whitmer, issued an Executive Order on Wednesday to defund the police. The order slashed $115.07 million from the Michigan State Police budget.
Breitbart reports:
Talk radio host Steve Gruber reported Whitmer ordered the cut, along with others, including $392.67 million being slashed from the Department of Corrections and $36.46 million from the Department of Health and Human Services.
The cut to the State Police equals roughly one-quarter of the agency’s funding, according to Gruber.
The cuts were made as Republican legislative leaders and the governor negotiate how to close a $2.2 billion budget deficit, according to the Detroit Free Press.

As if that wasn't bad enough, she is replacing a portion of the cut funds with $107 million from the federal coronavirus stimulus bill. Don't think that's a big deal? What happens next year when the MSP cuts are still in place and the federal funds are no longer available? Then what?
In June, Whitmer said she understood the sentiment behind the “Defund the Police” effort.
“What is your response to the defunding the police campaigns?” reporter Terrell Jermaine Starr asked Whitmer.
“The spirit is really about reprioritizing, rebuilding communities,” she said, “not just policing.”

“So do you support the defunding?” Starr pressed, which he described as “taking money from police departments.”
“I think you do all those other things, you don’t need all the money that’s going into police departments,” Whitmer said.
“So, yeah, I mean, the spirit of it, I do support that spirit of it,” she said.
Take a good look at Democrat run cities before you vote. Notice how those cities and states are the ones overrun with tyranny, high crime and calls to defund the police? That's just the tip of the iceberg.
