Dr Fauci Claims New York is the Model to Follow - 'They Did it Correctly'

dr fauce new york model to follow

Despite leading the country in deaths by a substantial margin, Dr Fauci claims New York is the model to follow when it comes to the virus.

“We know that, when you do it properly, you bring down those cases. We have done it. We have done it in New York,” Fauci said during an interview Friday with PBS News Hour.

“New York got hit worse than any place in the world. And they did it correctly by doing the things that you’re talking about,” Fauci continued.

Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is being ripped for his handling of the pandemic. It doesn't make sense when you compare the numbers between the two states.

While Florida is likely to see a surge in deaths in the upcoming weeks, it's unclear how anyone looking at the numbers could consider them as the model to follow.

New York likes to pretend they got on board with the steps to halt the coronavirus quicker than they actually did. You can look back to NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio encouraging residents to continue doing what they normally do.

“In hard times, New Yorkers know to stand by their neighbors,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio back in February. “We’re in Flushing today to embrace Asian-American owned small businesses and say to all New Yorkers: New York City’s Chinatowns are open for business!”

The cases of coronavirus in Florida are affecting a younger population and hopefully, as a result, this will result in fewer deaths. As always, we encourage everyone to practice the recommended safety measures when it comes to keeping healthy during the pandemic.

He wasn't the only one. There has been a lot of revisionist history when it comes to their stance on coronavirus in its early stages.
