Driver Rams into Giant Snowman, Gets Rude Awakening

A driver in Petersburg, Kentucky got a rude awakening when they attempted to plow down a giant snowman. Instead of knocking Frosty over, they are likely at the repair shop getting a new bumper.

Cory Lutz and his family decided to build a nine foot tall snowman in his yard. However, it wasn't just made of snow! The base of the figure was a giant tree trunk that was sticking out of the ground.

Yahoo reports:

Lutz was hosting his fiancée, Lucy, and her sister, Laura, who were visiting from Mississippi this weekend when Lucy experienced the “biggest snowfall she’s ever seen.” Naturally, Lutz wanted to make it special for the visiting women.Lutz told FOX 8 that the three of them spent the weekend sledding, engaging in snowball fights and even canoeing. But no winter wonderland of a weekend would be complete without building a snowman.

While Lutz thought everyone would enjoy the towering snowman, complete with a top hat and smile, there was one scrooge looking to ruin the day.

On Monday, when Lutz came home, he found tire tracks through his yard that lead up to the snowman. However, instead of finding his pal demolished, he found the imprint of a bumper instead.

“Apparently, Frosty had been handing out life lessons to surprised 4×4 vandals. You reap what you sow! Still standing and still smiling — he certainly had the last laugh!” Lutz told Fox 8.

Could you imagine the embarrassment and shame of the culprit? That's what they get for trying to ruin someone else's Christmas spirit!
