A two-day manhunt went down after a police officer was murdered in California. The police captured the accused killer who happens to be an illegal immigrant.
In the days following the accused killer being captured, there was an emotional moment for the fallen officer's brother. After the illegal immigrant killer was caught, the fallen officer's brother spoke out and thanked officers in a very emotional moment.

As reported earlier, 33-year-old Corporal Ronil Singh, a legal immigrant and native of Fiji, was shot and killed on Wednesday during a routine traffic stop.
Singh's brother spoke at a press conference that followed the tragedy. He expressed his thankfulness for the law enforcement capturing his brother's killer and the sorrow for his loss.

“Ronil Singh was my older brother. Yes, he’s not coming back, but there’s a lot of people out there that misses him and a lot of law enforcement people, that I don’t know, that worked days and nights to make this happen,” Reggie Singh said.
“I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart,” he continued. “I wish I could thank all of the law enforcement agencies, Homeland Security, San Fransisco, everyone. I was waiting for this to happen. I’d like to thank you for working day and night to make this happen. Thank you.”

On Thursday the suspect was identified and Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson said he was living in the U.S. illegally, according to a report from USA Today. Authorities claim he is from Mexico and part of a criminal gang.
“This suspect is in our country illegally,” Christianson said. “He doesn’t belong here. He is a criminal.”
