Famous Comedian Reveals How He Gained 40 Pounds While on Popular Weight Loss Drug

Comedian Tracy Morgan has a unique take on Ozempic, the drug many credit for weight loss. Unlike most, he gained weight.

On "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," he revealed a 40-pound gain. "I out-ate Ozempic. I’m like Magic Johnson with 40 pounds more," he joked.

In 2023, Morgan shared his Ozempic use on the "Today" show. "I got a prescription and lost weight. But I'm not letting it go," he stated.

He once said the injections halved his appetite. "Now I only eat half a bag of Doritos," Morgan admitted.

Originally for Type 2 diabetes, Ozempic is now popular for weight loss. Stars like Sharon Osbourne and Oprah Winfrey have discussed using similar drugs.

Winfrey spoke out against weight shaming. "Obesity is a disease, not a willpower issue," she told People. She hailed medical weight management as a breakthrough.

Osbourne shared her struggle with being "too gaunt" after Ozempic use. "Be careful what you wish for," she warned, discussing the dangers of addiction to weight loss.
