Taco Bell is launching a limited-time "Decades Menu" across the U.S. later this month.
This menu will take customers on a nostalgic journey through the first five decades of Taco Bell’s history. It features four savory items and one sweet treat, as announced by the fast-food chain on Thursday.
The lineup includes the Tostada, Green Sauce Burrito, Meximelt, Gordita Supreme, and Caramel Apple Empanada. These favorites once captured the hearts of fans in years gone by.
The savory items hit the menu at the end of the month. The Caramel Apple Empanada follows on November 21, Taco Bell confirmed.
All five items will be priced under $3. The "nostalgic menu" aims to unite long-time fans with new ones eager to try these classics.
In August, Taco Bell hinted at a nationwide rollout of these items after testing them in Southern California cities like Irvine, Brea, and Fullerton.
Once the "Decades Menu" debuts, participating U.S. locations will offer these items while supplies last. Taco Bell boasts over 7,400 restaurants in America.
Customers can also find the Gordita Supreme in a $7 "Luxe Cravings Box" for a limited time. This box includes a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Double Stacked Taco, chips with nacho cheese, and a medium fountain drink.
Taco Bell first introduced these $7 boxes over the summer, joining the trend of value meal deals aimed at budget-conscious diners. Yum! Brands, Taco Bell's parent company, will release its third-quarter financial results in early November.
As of Thursday afternoon, Yum! shares have increased by more than 3% since the start of the year.
