We reported earlier this week that the Fox 'Soul' network was planning to air a "message to America" from Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan’s in a July 4th special.
Farrakhan has a history of racism, antisemitism, and homophobia.
However, after a massive backlash, the network has now announced that they canceled his special and will be airing one hosted by Dr. Sean instead.
The network tweeted, "Programming change: On July 4th, Fox Soul will present a special program hosted by Dr. Sean featuring a compilation of the most powerful speeches from the greatest black leaders and thinkers about racial relations and civil rights in America. This powerful and inspirational program replaces the previously scheduled Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan's 'Message to America.'"

Former New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind, founder of Americans Against Antisemitism, spoke out against the programming when Fox announced Farrakhan as the speaker. Now he is commending Fox for canceling it.

The father of a teen murdered by an illegal immigrant in 2008 appeared on "Fox & Friends" Sunday. He said that because it was not a case of police brutality his case received no attention from the Black Lives Matter movement.

"You know, my son was murdered in 2008, and I reached out to anybody that would listen, especially black people because I thought for sure I would have a lot of support in the black community.
