Gisele Bündchen, the internationally renowned model, is reportedly upset with the way her previous marriage was humorously portrayed during a Netflix special dedicated to roasting her ex-husband, Tom Brady. The event, titled "The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady," featured a series of jokes about their relationship, which did not sit well with Bündchen.

According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE magazine, Bündchen was "deeply disappointed" by the disrespectful nature of the comments made during the show. The event was aired live from the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, and included numerous celebrities and former teammates of Brady who took turns making light of various aspects of his life, including his recent divorce.

The source highlighted that Bündchen’s primary concern remains the well-being of her children, who were also affected by the content of the roast. Bündchen and Brady share two children, Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10. The family's exposure to such public scrutiny following the divorce has been challenging, especially for the children.

The roast included appearances by celebrities such as Kevin Hart, who hosted the event, and Nikki Glaser, along with Brady’s former teammates Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Drew Bledsoe, Randy Moss, and others. Hart initiated the jokes by commenting on Bündchen’s new relationship with her jiu-jitsu coach, Joaquim Valente, while others made various digs at the circumstances surrounding the couple's separation.

One particularly cutting remark was made by Nikki Glaser, who quipped, "You have seven rings. Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back," referencing Brady’s Super Bowl victories and their divorce. Such jokes highlight the personal nature of the barbs that were exchanged during the event.

Bündchen and Brady were married for 13 years before filing for divorce on October 28, 2022. The couple's separation was highly publicized, adding to the sensitivity around the subject being used as material for humor during the roast.

Amidst this personal turmoil, Bündchen has been actively involved in humanitarian efforts back in her home state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, which has recently been hit by the worst flooding in its history. She has been working with the brazilfoundation.org to raise money for the Light Alliance Emergency Fund, supporting those affected by the natural disaster.

Bündchen shared an Instagram post on May 4, urging her followers to contribute to the relief efforts, demonstrating her commitment to helping her home region during such a critical time. Her dedication to these efforts starkly contrasts with the light-hearted tone adopted at the roast, underscoring her disappointment with the event's insensitivity.
