Oh dear. I wonder if former Vice President Joe Biden plans to vote for Donald Trump in November? It would make sense considering everything he says just makes people want to reelect Trump!
On Thursday, sleepy Joe gave a speech on his economic plan in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. He declared that he will put an “end to the era of shareholder capitalism.”
“It’s way past time to put the end to the era of shareholder capitalism. The idea the only responsibility a corporation has is its shareholders — that is simply not true, it’s an absolute farce. They have a responsibility to their workers, their community, to their country," he said.
So basically, he wants to do away with stocks and shareholders, and replace them with a system run by labor unions in “black, brown, and Native American” communities that he claims were left out of 'economic prosperity.'
During his speech, he also slammed Trump's coronavirus response, and falsely accused the president of telling Americans to "drink bleach" in order to fight the disease.
He also talked about a policy called "Buy America" in which he plans for the federal government to purchase pharmaceuticals and medical supplies exclusively from domestic suppliers.
I wonder how well that would go over.
Long story short, would wreak havoc on the American economy.
Here is the full speech:
I'm in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, to discuss my plan to create jobs, raise wages, and help America build back better. Tune in to watch: https://t.co/fSHMWax1u6
