Goodbye TikTok! Trump to Ban Popular Video App in U.S.

President Trump Replies to Rashida Tlaib Video

Popular video app TikTok, previously known as Musical.ly, is expected to be banned in the United States in the coming days.

President Donald Trump said he will take action as soon as Saturday to ban the Chinese-owned app as it is speculated to be a spyware program.

“As far as TikTok is concerned, we’re banning them from the United States,” Trump said on Friday.

Breitbart reports:

U.S. lawmakers have raised intelligence and privacy concerns about the company’s ownership. The company has denied allegations that it shares user data with the Chinese government.

The move comes as Trump has ratcheted up tensions with China during the coronavirus pandemic and stalled trade negotiations between the two nations.

The company’s operations in the U.S. has been under review by the secretive Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.

Trump said he could use emergency economic powers or an executive order to enforce the action, insisting, “I have that authority.”

I know many people post on that app and use it on a daily basis, so this will likely ruffle some feathers. However, if it is spyware from the Chinese government, then it needs to be banned.

AMAZING! More Than 100 Police Departments Pull Out of Security Detail for DNC

There seems to be some common sense that remains within the police departments.

I don't mean that as a jab at police, but rather at the country full of idiots who lack common sense. My point is that contrary to the rest of the country, at least many police departments have common sense because they're not stupid enough to put themselves in harm's way like the liberals are doing on the street.
