Senator Lindsey Graham reassured voters that the impeachment articles against President Trump will meet a “quick demise” once it hits the Senate for a trial.
As chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, he suggested a swift trial. He said they are “ready to go” and that their goal is to “end this as soon as possible.” Which is exactly what Democrats are afraid of.
“I don’t want to give it any legitimacy because it’s a crock,” Graham said in an interview with America’s Newsroom. “My goal is to end this as soon as possible for the good of the country because I think it’s a danger to the presidency to legitimize this.”
He tweeted out on Wednesday evening, “The impeachment Articles passed by the House of Representatives will meet a quick demise in the Senate.”

Graham wasn’t done there, though. He continued on Thursday morning, calling our House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for delaying sending the articles of impeachment over to the Senate.
He wrote, “If House Dems refuse to send Articles of Impeachment to the Senate for trial it would be a breathtaking violation of the Constitution, an act of political cowardice, and fundamentally unfair to President @realdonaldTrump.”
