By now the McCloskeys are a household name after photos and videos went viral of the couple defending their St. Louis home with guns from the BLM mobsters, earlier this year.
On Tuesday, Mark and Patricia McCloskey were indicted by a grand jury related to the June incident. According to KSDK, the couple was indicted for “exhibiting a weapon and tampering with evidence.”

Just two days after the two stood on their own property with their firearms to protect what is theirs, an investigation was opened. According to reports, St. Louis Prosecutor Kimberly Gardner stated that she was "alarmed at the events that occurred over the weekend, where peaceful protestors were met by guns.”
She added, “We must protect the right to peacefully protest, and any attempt to chill it through intimidation or threat of deadly force will not be tolerated.”
However, Missouri Governor Mike Parson argued otherwise. He declared that their actions were completely lawful and they “did what they legally should do.”
Parson said, “A mob does not have the right to charge your property. They had every right to protect themselves.” He also implied that if they McCloskeys were to be charged for the use of their firearms, then he would pardon them.
As he should.
Parson tweeted in July, “We will not allow law-abiding citizens to be targeted for exercising their constitutional rights.”
