Hillary Clinton Addresses Running for President in 2024

Former secretary of State and Democratic presidential nominee appeared on "CBS Evening News" and was asked by anchor Norah O’Donnell if she would ever run for president again.

“No, no,” Clinton said. "But I’m going to do everything I can to make sure that we have a president who respects our democracy and the rule of law and upholds our institutions,” Clinton continued.

She said if Trump were to run in 2024 then Republicans need to "grow a backbone."

Clinton speculated that if Donald Trump were to run for president in 2024 “he should be soundly defeated.”

She also said that if Biden were to run in 2024 she would endorse him. Clinton said that if Biden were to run he would be “the person most likely to win.”
