Shaq is a man of his word and he proved on live television.
On last Friday's episode of "Inside the NBA," Shaq made a wager with Ernie Johnson Jr., an alumnus of the University of Georgia, that TCU would defeat them in the National Championship game on Monday. If TCU lost to Johnson's alma mater, Shaq would eat a frog as a penalty.
"When Georgia beats TCU 45-17," Johnson said before Barkley jumped in.
"Ernie, can I make you a bet? If Georgia beats TCU, I’ll eat some frogs. I’ll eat a horned frog."
After that, the two shook hands and the following Thursday Shaq made good on his promise.
"Ernie Johnson. Class of 1978, University of Georgia. National champions, back-to-back and for Shaquille O’Neal, frog legs."

Shaq tore into the frog legs while Smith and Barkley watched.
"Oh my God," Smith said, "now y’all understand why I’m vegetarian."
"I’m a man of my word," O’Neal added. "These are the best frog legs I’ve had, ever."
The University of Georgia won back-to-back national championships after defeating TCU, 65-7, in a lopsided game.
