Former Arizona Senator Jeff Flake made a bold prediction when he said "at least 35" Republican senators would privately vote for President Trump's impeachment.
Flake appeared at the 2019 Texas Tribune Festival. This is a guy who has taken every chance he's had to rip President Trump.

"I heard someone say if there were a private vote there would be 30 Republican votes. That's not true," Flake said during a Q&A session. "There would be at least 35."

Flake was reacting to longtime GOP political consultant Mike Muraphy who said there were many Republican lawmakers in the Senate who would be in favor of impeachment with a "secret ballot."
"I can tell you this ... one Republican senator told me if it was a secret vote, 30 Republican senators would vote to impeach Trump," Murphy said.
Earlier this year Flake retired from the Senate. Back to 2016 he has ripped the Republican Party as well as President Trump. He called for the party to condemn the comments President Trump made about several Democratic congresswomen.

The media is hard at work trying to get President Trump impeached. They have a long way to go. They're still not over the fact that President Trump won in 2016.
