After facing some serious backlash, Joe Biden pushes further left. After just two days of critcism, he said he no longer supports a long-standing congressional ban on using federal health care money on abortions. If Biden gets his way, taxpayers all across the country will fund abortions.
Biden said that if he believes health care is a right, and he does, that he can no longer support this amendment. According to Biden, this amendment makes it harder for some women to access care. This was said at a fundraiser in Atlanta for the Democratic Party.
His sudden change of stance on the Hyde Amendment came after he was blasted by rivals and women's rights groups after saying he still supported the amendment that has been in place for decades. This was something that was definitely going to be attacked at the looming Democratic primary debates.

So who does Biden blame for his decision? He's a Democrat, he has to blame someone. Well, he blamed the Republicans. Of course, right? That wasn't hard to figure out.
Many people on Twitter attacked Biden for changing his stance so quickly on an important issue.
Reiterating tonight after Joe Biden’s embarrassing and pathetic flip-flip on the Hyde amendment that he is a terrible candidate. Honestly, Republicans should hope that he is the Democrat nominee.

I wonder what changed in THE LESS THAN 24 HOURS since the @JoeBiden campaign reaffirmed his support for the Hyde Amendment?
This is pure political cowardice on a level that I've never seen from a supposed major party frontrunner. Impossible to call Joe a "moderate" after this. https://t.co/Vq72bhyogG

Joe Biden officially joins every other Democrat presidential candidate in supporting the following:
-Abortions sold through all nine months, on babies 8, 9 lbs, old enough to survive outside the womb
-Abortions for any reason
-Taxpayers must fund abortionhttps://t.co/qY1v3vrQ4m— Lila Rose (@LilaGraceRose) June 7, 2019
After holding the same stance on this for 46 years, he suddenly changes course after being attacked. He doesn't stand for anything and has no business being anywhere near the Oval Office.
