John Stamos had a blunt response when asked if he’d ever bring his longtime friend and former co-star Lori Loughlin into his marriage.

During an appearance on The Good Guys podcast, co-host Ben Soffer asked if Stamos would ever consider adding Loughlin to his relationship with wife Caitlin McHugh — a question inspired by curious fans.

“Would you bring her into the fold?” Soffer asked, jokingly referring to Loughlin’s “Aunt Becky” character from Full House. Stamos laughed but quickly shut it down.

“No,” he replied. “I’m not Mormon.”

The conversation then turned to the swinger lifestyle, but Stamos made it clear he’s not interested. “It never works,” he said, though he admitted he knows “a few sets of couples” who make it work.

Stamos also opened up about supporting Loughlin as she navigates her separation from designer Mossimo Giannulli after 28 years of marriage. “She put up with a lot over the years with this guy,” he said. “She is an angel, and she always made things better.”

The 62-year-old actor didn’t hold back his feelings about Giannulli, calling him a “narcissist” and saying he’ll “never speak to him again.”

Fans have long speculated about a romantic connection between Stamos and Loughlin, who played married couple Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky on Full House from 1987 to 1995. But Stamos said their relationship has always been platonic.

He did, however, admit that before meeting McHugh, he once called Loughlin “the one who got away.” “There was a very small window for the two of us being single at the same time,” he said.

Reflecting on his past, Stamos compared Loughlin to Sandy from Grease before her transformation — and his ex-wife Rebecca Romijn to Sandy after. “At the time, I was more attracted to rebellious women,” he said.

He even laughed about one awkward memory, recalling how he thought he and Loughlin once made out on a Disneyland ride — something she flatly denied. “So, I don’t know if I made it up in my mind — some kind of fantasy,” he joked.

Stamos married McHugh in 2018, and the couple shares a 7-year-old son named Billy.
