Joy Behar Accidentally Reveals Bad News for Fans of 'The View'

Joy Behar surprised her cohosts — and viewers — by revealing The View is about to go on summer break.

“Before we go on hiatus, we only have one more show after this. I’m allowed to say that, right?” Behar said at the top of Thursday’s show.

Alyssa Farah Griffin laughed, “Too late now!” A producer’s voice chimed in off-camera, “Doesn’t really matter.”

A source later confirmed to TV Insider that The View will begin its annual summer hiatus on Monday, July 28 — a bit earlier than usual.

That means the final new episode will air Friday, July 25. The show is expected to return after Labor Day.

The panel moved on quickly, diving into the latest buzz about Donald Trump and the Epstein files, including claims his name appears “multiple times” in the newly released documents.

Attorney General Pam Bondi reportedly briefed Trump about the Epstein link, according to The Wall Street Journal.

News of the hiatus stirred speculation online — with some wondering if the break could become permanent following CBS’ recent cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
