After retaining Larry Klayman as her legal counsel, Laura Loomer sues Facebook for three billion dollars. Yes, that’s billion with a B.

Per lauraloomer.us:

On Tuesday, Larry Klayman, the founder of Freedom Watch and a former federal prosecutor announced the filing of a defamation lawsuit by conservative investigative journalist Laura Loomer against Facebook. The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida (Case No. 9:19-cv-80893), alleges that Facebook and its wholly owned sister company Instagram, in banning Ms. Loomer from the social media sites, maliciously defamed her by publishing that she is a “dangerous individual” and a domestic Jewish terrorist.

She is going for the jugular, isn’t she? You can read the legal complaint here.

There has been a lot of outrage over Loomer being banned from Facebook and Instagram. Loomer had almost 100,000 followers on Facebook and over 120,000 on Instagram. Despite her being banned, there are still members of Antifa and ISIS who still have active accounts on Facebook and Instagram.

Klayman said this about Ms. Loomer upon filing the site:

“Laura Loomer is an American heroine, who puts principle ahead of her own safety and well being. By calling Ms. Loomer dangerous and banning her from Facebook and its related wholly owned and controlled entity Instagram, the companies have not only maliciously defamed her but in effect issued another Intifada to harm her for criticism of Reps. Omar and Tlaib and their blatant anti-Semitism. This will not stand and Facebook will be made to pay dearly for its actions.”

As of today, Loomer has been banned from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Periscope, PayPal, Venmo, GoFundMe, Uber, Uber Eats, Lyft, Medium, and TeeSpring. Uber Eats!? Seriously!?

Sure, three billion dollars is a lot of money, but there is certainly some reasoning to it. For instance, if she gets 1% of that, it’s still 30 million.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. These tech giants have an unending flow of money and it will be tough for someone like Loomer to take them down. That said, she has a lot of people on her side and the public is watching.
