Things are looking bleak for Jackson Mahomes, brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Security footage, which purportedly shows Jackson Mahomes engaging in sexual assault on a woman, has been leaked. The footage allegedly depicts Mahomes forcefully grabbing the female owner of a Kansas restaurant by the throat and kissing her against her will. The video also shows the woman pushing Mahomes away.
The footage was made public only a few hours after the police had announced their investigation.
Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who recently won his second Super Bowl championship, has been accused of assault on two occasions at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park, Kansas. This information was reported by The Kansas City Star.
According to reports, Jackson Mahomes is accused of physically assaulting a 19-year-old male waiter in the first incident, involving multiple shoves. In the second incident, he is accused of sexually assaulting Aspen Vaughn, the owner of Aspens Restaurant and Lounge.
In relation to the second incident, a purported video has emerged, which shows Jackson Mahomes allegedly "forcibly" kissing Vaughn.

“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere, and I’m telling him, pushing him off saying, ‘what are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive,” Vaughn said to the Kansas City Star.
Jackson Mahomes' lawyer continues to assert his client's innocence, despite the leaked video.
“Jackson has done nothing wrong. Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses,” Mahomes lawyer Brandon Davies told The Star. “We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”
