Mayor Bill De Blasio Says Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Did Not Understand Amazon Deal

It's pretty clear that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did not understand the Amazon deal in the works with New York City. Even Mayor Bill de Blasio has acknowledged the confusion Ocasio-Cortez had when she said the deal collapsing will result in freeing up $3 billion to hire more teachers and fix the city's subways.

While appearing on NBC's "Meet the Press," host Chuck Todd said that the tax breaks offered to Amazon weren't “money you had over here. And it was going over there.”

"Correct," de Blasio responded.

He also added, “And that $3 billion that would go back in tax incentives was only after we were getting the jobs and getting the revenue.”

Todd further drove home the point when he said, “There’s not $3 billion in money —”

De Blasio stepped in and finished his sentence, “There’s no money — right.”

This issue came up after Todd suggested there was a "factual divide" that prevented Ocasio-Cortez from figuring out "how this deal worked."

“If we were willing to give away $3 billion for this deal, we could invest those $3 billion in our district ourselves, if we wanted to. We could hire out more teachers. We can fix our subways. We can put a lot of people to work for that money, if we wanted to,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

She has no idea what a tax break is.

There is a misconception when it comes to how the right views Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Much of the left likes to claim that the right is obsessed with her. In actuality, she is the laughingstock of the right and we find it unbelievable that this young lady is an elected official.

She puts up a new blooper reel of content on a daily basis. Stuff that she says is so out of wack that it must be reported.
