Melania Trump Sends Message to America As Her Husband Seeks a Second Presidency

Melania Trump says the 2024 election is different. The country is more divided than before.

"We are dealing with much more danger," she said on "Hannity." She mentioned world events and threats. She also referenced two attempts on her husband's life.

In July, Thomas Matthew Crooks fired shots at Trump during a rally in Butler, Pa. He was killed by a counter sniper.

A few months later, Ryan Wesley Routh was caught near Trump’s golf course. He had a rifle and was charged with attempted assassination.

Melania stressed the need for people to listen to each other. She talked about respecting different opinions and freedom of speech.

"We need to respect our freedom of speech and of our individuality," she said. She believes open communication and debate lead to success.

She also criticized canceling people over differing opinions. Melania thinks this is a troubling trend in the U.S.

Though the election process is long, she tries to stay focused. She stays calm and takes it one day at a time.

Her memoir, Melania, is coming out soon. It covers her life before, during, and after the White House.
