Michelle Obama Responds to the Left Pleading Her to Run for President

With the 2020 Democratic Primary debates already rolling, many on the left have a certain someone in mind to run. Michael Moore says he knows the "street fighter" that will be able to "crush" President Trump. Now, Michelle Obama responds to the please for her to run for president.

While doing an interview with Amtrack magazine, she answered the question many on the left have for her.

"A lot of people want you to run for president. You’ve publicly said that you aren’t interested, but everyone says that until they actually run," said Hilde Lysiak, a 12-year old journalist with Amtrack. "Just between us, if you thought the country needed you and you thought you could really help our nation, is there even a one percent chance you’d consider running?"

Michelle Obama responded:

Just between us, and the readers of this magazine—there’s zero chance. There are so many ways to improve this country and build a better world, and I keep doing plenty of them, from working with young people to helping families lead healthier lives. But sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office will never be one of them. It’s just not for me.

The Democratic Primary debates have not unfolded the way the Democrats have hoped, with no candidate inspiring much confidence they can defeat President Trump in 2020. Despite Michelle Obama running for president being nothing more than a pipe dream, the left still begs for it to happen.
