Mini Mike Came Up Short on Super Tuesday, Ends Presidential Campaign

Former New York City mayor and billionaire Mike Bloomberg, aka Mini Mike, came up short in terms of support (and height) on Super Tuesday. The Democrat jumped into the presidential race extremely late, and blew more than $500 million on his campaign. However, after Tuesday, he is ending his bid for the White House.

“After yesterday’s results, the delegate math has become virtually impossible — and a viable path to the nomination no longer exists," Bloomberg said. "But I remain clear-eyed about my overriding objective: victory in November. Not for me, but for our country. And so while I will not be the nominee, I will not walk away from the most important political fight of my life."

Although he ended his campaign, he still has it out for President Trump and vowed to continue the fight against him. He also called for fellow Democrats to rally behind former Vice President Joe Biden.

“I’ve known Joe for a very long time," Bloomberg said. "I know his decency, his honesty, and his commitment to the issues that are so important to our country — including gun safety, health care, climate change, and good jobs.

"I’ve had the chance to work with Joe on those issues over the years, and Joe has fought for working people his whole life," he continued. "Today I am glad to endorse him — and I will work to make him the next president of the United States."

Too bad it took him half a billion dollars to realize he didn't stand a chance.

WATCH: Iranians Purposely Infect Themselves with Coronavirus by Licking Shrine

It seems that Iran is getting the worst of the coronavirus (other than China of course). The virus has been spreading rapidly and has even infected 28 members of the Iranian parliament. Even an advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died from the virus.

Ayatollah Khamenei himself will likely be infected soon if he hasn't been already. I'm sure they'll keep it hush-hush even if he is so as to not cause alarm in the country.
