Nancy Pelosi was wound tight during a presser earlier today. So tight that she was gripping both sides of the podium during it. Or perhaps she was just hanging on for balancer? Either way she was fired up.
All it took was a simple question from a reporter about her serving out her full term for her to fly off the handle.
"Will you commit to serving your full two-year term for the people of San Francisco?" Pelosi was asked by the reporter.
Check out her response:
"Will you commit to serving your full two-year term for the people of San Francisco?"
NANCY PELOSI: "What is this? What is this? Don't bother me with a question like that. Really. Really, ok? I said what I'm gonna do. Those kind of questions are such a waste of my time." pic.twitter.com/cINT3MWdQD

Come on Nancy, that was a very fair question. No need to rip the reporter's head off.
After all, being a public servant it's her job to answer questions like these. Additional to that she's pretty freaking old so it's a reasonable question.
She’s a civil servant. The constituents deserve her to answer the question

Also, wouldn't it have been much easier to give a simple yes or not instead of going nuts?
Simply answering 'yes' or 'no' and "Next question." would have been a much less waste of time than her response.

Maybe Pelosi is so angry because her days as Speaker of the House are coming to a close. Now seems like as good of a time as any to announce her retirement.
