Minnesota Viking star receiver was completely shut down by the Green Bay Packers secondary all day and let his emotions get the best of him during a sideline tirade.

During the second quarter, with about six minutes remaining in the half, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins threw his second interception of the game to Green Bay Packers safety Adrian Amos. When Amos went out of bounds, Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson removed his helmet and swung it downward, accidentally hitting one of the sideline officials.

After the incident, Justin Jefferson returned to the bench and the official did not appear to be injured. Jefferson was not ejected and did not cause serious harm to the official.

Jefferson, a star wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings who has been a key part of the team's offense this season, was frustrated during the game. He was closely guarded by Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander, who had one pass defended in the game, and only managed to catch one pass for 15 yards on five targets. Frustrations were high for Jefferson due to the tough matchup.

The Packers defeated the Vikings by a final score of 41-17.

Justin Jefferson, who was a strong contender for the NFL MVP award, had an opportunity to strengthen his case with a strong performance in this game. Prior to the contest, he led the NFL in receptions (123), receiving yards (1,756), and yards per game (117.1). He had also scored eight touchdowns and had been selected for his third consecutive Pro Bowl.

The Minnesota Vikings have secured a spot in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers won their fourth consecutive game and can earn a place in the postseason with a victory over the Detroit Lions next week.
