On Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared on MSNBC's "The Last Word" to speak about coronavirus tests, tracing, treatment, funding for state, local, tribal, and territorial governments, direct payments and unemployment insurance, OSHA standards, funding for the Postal Service, vote by mail, and SNAP benefits.
She claims all those topics are “seven hills of Rome,” in which the House Democrats are “there to make sure prevail when we go to the table for negotiation” as they attempt to pass another coronavirus relief package.
Pelosi said that the "testing, tracing, and treatment” in addition to funding and "injecting funds into our — the pockets of the American people with what we have with direct payments, unemployment insurance, etc.” are the “three pillars of the HEROES Act.”
She added that OSHA standards, as well as SNAP benefits, U.S. Postal Service funding, and "voting at home" are also pillars of the bill.
Nasty Nancy concluded, “And so, those are what I call the seven hills of Rome, the three original pillars, the four issues that I just mentioned, that we’re there to make sure prevail when we go to the table for negotiation.”
Make no mistake, vote-by-mail is nothing more than a scheme to cheat. And changing the name to "voting at home" is just an attempt to make it sound more comfortable and secure. Don't fall for it. It is not secure or fair.
