Pence Addresses Iran: 'We are Locked and Loaded'

Vice President Mike Pence is not playing any games! While addressing Iran and their recent aggression, he asserted that while the United States doesn't "want war with anybody," we are more than prepared to deal with any threat on our country.

While speaking to the Heritage Foundation on Tuesday, Pence advised Iran, “We’re locked and loaded, and we’re ready to defend our interests and our allies in the region. Make no mistake about it.” He added that if Iran was behind the recent drone attacks on Saudi Arabia, then it “would just be the latest in a series of increasingly dangerous escalations instigated by the Islamic Republic.”

“Iran is the leading state sponsor of terrorism in the world, and it’s the greatest threat to peace and security in the Middle East. That’s why President Trump withdrew from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal and initiated a maximum pressure campaign against the regime in Tehran," the vice president continued.

“America is ready to defend our interests,” Pence added, “And because of the President’s strong action to advance American energy independence, we’re also less vulnerable today to threats to the global oil supply than ever before.”

It was also made clear that if Iran carried out any of these attacks in an attempt to put the pressure on President Trump, then it was done in vain, because "they will fail."
