POTUS Suspended from YouTube Over ‘Potential for Violence’

On Tuesday, YouTube (owned by Google) announced that they are banning President Donald Trump’s channel “in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence.” In addition, they banned the ability to comment on his posts “indefinitely.”

“After review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our policies,” YouTube said in the statement.

“It now has its 1st strike & is temporarily prevented from uploading new content for a *minimum* of 7 days,” they added.

If a user receives three “strikes” within a 90-day period, then they are permanently banned from the platform.

So Trump, who has not done anything wrong to begin with, is now being banned for POTENTIAL violence? Are you kidding me? In that case, ban literally anyone because we ALL have the potential to be violent.

“Given the ongoing concerns about violence, we will also be indefinitely disabling comments on President Trump’s channel, as we’ve done to other channels where there are safety concerns found in the comments section,” YouTube said in a follow-up tweet.
