HomePolitical NewsRashida Tlaib's Palestinian Grandmother Casts a Spell Over President Trump: 'May Allah Ruin Him' Mike Vance August 18, 2019 Rashida Tlaib's Palestinian grandmother, Muftia Tlaib, cursed President Trump in Arabic after he said she was the only winner in the decision by her granddaughter to not visit her in the West Bank after a back and forth with Israel about whether the anti-Israel Democrat Rep. Rashid (MI) would be allowed by Israel to enter the country and also visit the Palestinian territories. The 90-year-old grandmother made these remarks during an interview with Reuters. A congressional delegation trip was set for this weekend with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) but it was cancelled. After the initial cancellation, Israel invited Tlaib for a humanitarian visit to her grandmother. She initially accepted the invite, but then went public to refuse it. President Trump took to Twitter Friday night to comment on the situation. Israel was very respectful & nice to Rep. Rashida Tlaib, allowing her permission to visit her “grandmother.” As soon as she was granted permission, she grandstanded & loudly proclaimed she would not visit Israel. Could this possibly have been a setup? Israel acted appropriately! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 16, 2019 Rep. Tlaib wrote a letter to Israeli officials desperately wanting to visit her grandmother. Permission was quickly granted, whereupon Tlaib obnoxiously turned the approval down, a complete setup. The only real winner here is Tlaib’s grandmother. She doesn’t have to see her now! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 16, 2019 Though Tlaib loves to talk about how close she is to her grandmother, her uncle told Reuters that Tlaib and her grandmother had not seen each other since 2006. Video of the interview with Muftia Tlaib shows her speaking Arabic and cursing President Trump. Rashida Tlaib's Palestinian Grandmother Casts a Spell Over President Trump: 'May Allah Ruin Him' https://t.co/WsCM4AMOqY — Kristinn Taylor (@KristinnFR) August 17, 2019 Per Reuters: Ninety-year-old Muftia Tlaib, sitting in her garden in the village of Beit Ur Al-Fauqa, was not impressed. “Trump tells me I should be happy Rashida is not coming,” she said. “May God ruin him.” Her son, Rashida’s uncle Bassam Tlaib, said the women had not seen each other since 2006: “She was going to slaughter a sheep when Rashida arrived and prepare her favorite food, stuffed vine leave. “Rashida sees her granny as a second mother, she has always supported her. Rashida says she owes her success to her grandmother.” …“Trump has told Rashida and Ilhan to go back to their home countries. What a contradiction, yesterday he asked them to leave and today he asks that they aren’t let in,” said Bassam Tlaib. Still, the grandmother is hopeful: “My heart tells me that she will come.” Rashida Tlaib took to Twitter to defender herself on her cancelled visit on Friday: My sity wanted to pick figs w/ me. I broke down reading this & worry every single day after I won for my family's safety. My cousin was texting me which photo of @IlhanMN & I they should put on a welcoming poster when I heard the news. I couldn't tell her.https://t.co/TneIQHwDgO — Rashida Tlaib (@RashidaTlaib) August 16, 2019 When I won, it gave the Palestinian people hope that someone will finally speak the truth about the inhumane conditions. I can't allow the State of Israel to take away that light by humiliating me & use my love for my sity to bow down to their oppressive & racist policies. https://t.co/OYIwExV0ga — Rashida Tlaib (@RashidaTlaib) August 16, 2019 Silencing me & treating me like a criminal is not what she wants for me. It would kill a piece of me. I have decided that visiting my grandmother under these oppressive conditions stands against everything I believe in--fighting against racism, oppression & injustice. https://t.co/z5t5j3qk4H — Rashida Tlaib (@RashidaTlaib) August 16, 2019 In another tweet, Tlaib praised her grandmother who always "keeps it real." My grandmother always keeps it real. ⬇️? "When asked about Donald Trump and his repeated attacks on her granddaughter, she brushed off the question. “I don’t know him,” she said. “I don’t care.”https://t.co/fW1oZkqRqw — Rashida Tlaib (@RashidaTlaib) August 16, 2019 Here is the letter where where Rep. Tlaib accepted Israel's conditions before she went public to say she did not accept: Breaking: Israel’s interior minister just approved @RashidaTlaib’s petition to enter Israel 'on humanitarian grounds' to visit her Palestinian grandmother @ the West Bank. She had to promise not to promote #BDS during the visit https://t.co/e8K2ZgtOUQ pic.twitter.com/q9ULe25xX2 — Noa Landau נעה לנדאו (@noa_landau) August 16, 2019 More Stories About the Insane Women of the Left: AOC Claims Trump Supporters Are Not Educated Enough to Know They are Racist New Photos Show Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Was Not Sobbing at the Border – She Was in a Photo-Op in an Empty Parking Lot Maxine Waters Goes Off – Calls for ‘Lowlife, Lying, Crooked, Tax Evader, Porn Star Fornicator’ Trump to Resign Buying Votes: Elizabeth Warren Wants to Pay Over $50 Million in Tax Reparations to Gays and Lesbians Squad Member Rashida Tlaib Attacks Ivanka Trump on Twitter Banned!
