According to a new report by Daily Mail, the moderator for the next presidential debate may have the ability to turn President Donald Trump's mic off when they don't want him to speak.
Moderator Steve Scully could have the ability to silence Trump's mic if he tries to interrupt or speak over Joe Biden, like the first presidential debate. Will he do it? Even if he does, will that stop Trump? I doubt it.
The two candidates will face each other next on October 15 in Miami for a town-hall style debate moderated by the C-SPAN host.
The rules of engagement will be different at that meeting, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced on Wednesday, in an attempt to curb the chaos from Tuesday night's debate, which was compared to a dumpster fire.
The two-week window gives the commission some breathing room to consider their options.
One getting serious consideration is giving the moderator the ability to mute the president, according to reports.
Chris Wallace, moderator from the first debate, told The New York Times that he fears muting the president's mic won't stop him from talking .
"As a practical matter, even if the president's microphone had been shut, he still could have continued to interrupt, and it might well have been picked up on Biden's microphone, and it still would have disrupted the proceedings in the hall," he said.
Wallace also said he is worried about the response of supporters if the candidates have their mics cut.
Scully, in an interview with Erie News Now conducted just before the revelation of a possible rule change had said that he expected the town hall format to be like his Washington Journal show, which combines interviews and phone-in segments - and joked about the lack of a mute button.
'The only difference is that I have the ability to hit the mute button, so I'm able to do that on the Washington Journal, not so much in a debate,' he said.

Another Biden Lie: 'I Didn't Call Military Stupid Bastards' - Here's Video Proof
As I watched the presidential debate last night, I just knew I would have TONS of content today. If nothing else, I could write about all the Biden lies and mishaps.
For example, former Vice President Joe Biden claimed that he did not call members of the military "stupid bastards." He even laughed and told President Trump to provide the video proof.

Former Vice President Joe Biden did a poor job during the debate against President Trump and the only reason he even did that well is because of Chris Wallace who was moderating the debate.
What Wallace was really doing was enabling Biden's lies, interrupting the President, and attacking President Trump as well. Wallace really didn't show any impartiality.

Don't be fooled, the "medical experts" that we have today may be smart about their field, but they're no experts or at least they don't let on that they're experts.
I'm of the mind that just because I don't know everything about something, or because I don't have a degree in something, doesn't mean that I can't know something about the topic. I believe in something that Jordan Peterson teaches which is to always assume that the person you're listening to knows something that you don't.
