Social Media Roasts President Biden After He Denies There's a Recession

Economic data was revealed on Thursday that the U.S. experienced its second consecutive quarter of negative GDP. Historically that has always been considered entering a recession. Not in Joe Biden's world.

Biden disputing the U.S. entering a recession came during a White House address about the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. He recited off a few positives for the country, denied a recession is happening and took off without answering any questions.

Conservatives on Twitter ripped Biden for his delusion.

The Heritage Foundation tweeted, "Out. Of. Touch."

"65% of the country thinks we are already in a recession," Matt Whitlock tweeted. "80% think the country is oh the wrong track. 75% of Democrats don’t want Biden to run again. Biden: Everything is awesome, I won’t be taking any questions."

Kayleigh McEnany took Biden to ask for his stance on the recession.
