A rioter in Washington, D.C. got more than he bargained for when he was dragged to the police and handed over by protestors.
In the video below, which was captured by local news reporter Safvan Allahverdi on Sunday, you can see a masked man dressed in all black trying to destroy a sidewalk block with a hammer. Then he is surrounded by protestors and detained.
They forcefully dragged him to police officers nearby, and the officers can be seen apprehending the masked man.
You can hear people cheering things like “take his ass!” and “go to jail!” as he was handed to the police.
